Very happy with this product! Needed it for a custom barn door project I was working on and this was the best value for a high quality bypass kit available! Seller was also very quick to respond to and resolve a missing component issue as well!

Will definitely be purchasing products from this company again!

It was very easy to install. The only improvement I would suggest would be improvements on the instructions in relation to where to drill the holes for the door with the extended bar

5.0 out of 5 stars Best deal around on barn door hardware

This is the third set of barn doors i've put in my house....just love them. This single rail bypass door hardware is just the ticket. Way less bulky than the double rail kind, MUCH easier to install, MUCH less expensive. We built the doors ourselves - used pre-cut packaged cedar planking, and pine for the frame. Whole thing cost $300! Way cheaper than the $1,800 doors I put in my kitchen, or even the $500 Home Depot single door. I'll be buying more for my guest bedroom.

4.0 out of 5 stars Detailed pics

Seems like quality hardware. In other customer reviews a few people mentioned the large gap between the doors. I'm showing pics of ours because I had no idea how big until we installed! Wow...quite a gap. We will have to create a side panel on the door to accomidate a 4 inch gap!
The reason we purchased the barn door hardware was to close off the entrance to our basement. My daughter has 2 cats she wants to keep from getting into the main house. The gap is a problem for small pets. Again, we will be closing it off by creating an edge on the door. Overall happy with the look. Just wondering if we could have our in less effort if we went with a different bipass door system. Hope my pics help you decide if this is for you. And yes...installation is tricky. Minimal instructions as others have mentioned. Trial and error required with these.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy / good looking hardware, questionable instruction book

Reviewed in the United States on July 12, 2018

Size : 11FT Bypass Two Doors KitColor Name: Classic Design Verified Purchase

The hardware looks just like in the photo and is very heavy duty, it will certainly stand up to the use it will get.
I was prepared to rate as 4 stars due to missing pieces and the instructions are a tad cryptic, however, the seller was fantastic in response to the missing pieces and quickly replaced the missing items without any hassle. The instructions...well...as you start putting it together it becomes more clear, however, my recommendation is to prep on the floor ahead of trying to hang anything so you understand what all pieces are needed and what the end stage will look like. This pre-build process also helps to ensure you have all the right pieces before getting started as well as making sure you use all of the washers, screws, etc where they are needed. As others have posted, we ended up installing a 1x8 "header" on the wall for the hardware to hang from - this was a much sturdier way to hang especially when you are not able to hit studs with each pre-drilled hole. The hardware looks great and we are very happy with the purchase.

1.0 out of 5 stars get a dual rail system if you need true bypass

Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2019

Size : 8FT Single TrackColor Name: Straight Design Verified Purchase

8 foot single rail bypass system purchased. The door hanging from the standard [straight] brackets will work fine. The door hanging from the offset brackets will hang at an extreme angle because the center mass of a typical door of 2 inch thickness is offset by 4 inches from the rollers glide path. The design depends on the straight bracket door pushing against the bottom of the offset bracket door. It is not a good design and an even poorer execution It may work a little better if they decreased the offset by at least two inches, which would decrease the hanging angle, but still not a good solution. Look elsewhere - a two rail solution is superior.
