2012 Myrtle Beach Black Bike Week Pt 1
May is here and when you're in Myrtle Beach that means only one thing: Bike Week is Back!
It's been a tumultous spring and the dates of this year's rallies have been a thing of much dispute locally, with some organizers from the Harley-Davidson rally wanting to move their rally closer to Memorial Day weekend and the county threatening to not issue vendor permits before giving in in the end.
The "official" rally dates for the Cruisin' The Coast Spring Rally are now May 14-20, with many businesses also hosting events the previous weekend.
On the other side of the beach the Town of Atlantic Beach has been pushing to move the official dates for Atlantic Beach Bikefest back to extend the event.
Though it's still a topic of great debate, this rally will run May 18-28 officially, with most events remaining centered around the Memorial Day weekend.
